SPORTS
On 04 Sep 2014 ARPS received the prestigious CBSE Sports Promotion Award 2013-14 from Shri Vineet Joshi, Chairman of the CBSE.
The students of the school have maintained an excellent record of performance in the field of Sports at Inter Public Schools, States, and National Level Meets. Our students have brought Laurels to the Institution in Football, Basketball, Badminton, Volleyball, Wushu.
Football
In 2007, CBSE Football Championship our School TEAM won the 2nd Runners up Trophy held at Bokaro.
In 2013 CBSE Football Cluster Tournament our School Football Team bagged to the runners up Trophy and qualified for the Nationals where we reached up to Quarter Finals.
In 2014, the ARPS Football team emerged the 2nd runners up in the CBSE Cluster I Championships.
In 2016,The ARPS Football Team emerged 2nd Runners Up in the CBSE Cluster–I Football Championships held in Guwahati.
Basketball
In 2005, ARPS emerged champions in the CBSE Cluster Basketball held in the Army School, Narangi, Guwahati.
In 2006, ARPS won the Winner’s Trophy in the CBSE Cluster Basketball Championships.
In 2013,The ARPS Basketball Team emerged ‘Runner’s Up’ in the East Zone CBSE Cluster I Basketball Championship held in Kaziranga English Academy, Guwahati. The team qualified for playing the Nationals held in Agra.
BADMINTON
In the 1st East Khasi Hills District Inter School Badminton Championship, 2015, organized at the Polo Ground Shillong, the ARPS team emerged Runner’s Up.
In 2016,East Khasi Hills District Inter School Badminton Championship Master Imran Alam won the Gold medal.
Volleyball
In 2013 ARPS hosted a CBSE championship. The ARPS Volleyball Team took the Third place in the East Zone CBSE Cluster I Volleyball Championship held in ARPS, Laitkor, Shillong.
Wushu
The ARPS Wushu contingent bagged 6 Gold, 6 Silver and 6 Bronze Medals in the Meghalaya Kick-Boxing Tournament held in Shillong.
Master Nongthomba Meitei was Awarded “The Best Fighter” Trophy.
ARPS Kick Boxing Team took part in the XII Meghalaya State Level Kick Boxing Championship and Won 8 Gold, 10 Silver and 6 Bronze Medals. 18 Students were selected for National Trails in Kolkata.
