1) The Sports Authority of India (SAI) has adopted Assam Rifles Public School under the Khelo India Programme with an yearly intake of 100 students (50-boys & 50-Girls) from all over the country to help develop the culture of sports and games as well as to promote Youth Games in the North East with mission Olympics.
2) Athletes scientifically screened and selected by the Sports Authority of India under the Khelo India Programme will be coached and trained by specialised SAI coaches in their respective disciplines:
- Archery
- Fencing
- Athletics
