Introduction
The Curriculum refers to the lessons and academic content to be taught in the school. It includes objectives of learning, courses of study, subject-wise instructional objectives and assessment guidelines. The school being affiliated to the CBSE, follows the Secondary School Curriculum for classes IX-X and Senior School Curriculum for classes XI-XII. For classes VI to VIII, school follow CBSE/NCERT guidelines and text books publishes by NCERT primarily.
The school has setup a School Curriculum Committee with teachers representing each area. The School Curriculum Committee would define activities for pedagogical practices, evolve a plan of assessment and mechanism of feedback and reflection and ensure its implementation. The committee would also ensure that the textbooks/ reference materials are age appropriate, incorporate inclusive principles, are gender sensitive, have valid content and do not contain any material which mayhurt the sentiments of any community.
